I searched high & low for a diffuser that would meet all of my requirements without costing an arm & a leg and this one is it! You can use the light without the misting, you can turn the light off completely and still mist, and you can have the lights rotate through the colors or leave it on one color. I wasn't a big essential oil person until I got this quite honestly. I didn't like smelling like an oil machine everywhere I went so I figured this would be the best thing that I can come across that doesn't make me smell all oily. I love the options that this diffuser gives you along with the ease of cleaning it. Also the lights can sooth almost any room that you have people sitting around hanging out. The best part about the lighting is that you can make it bright (if lights are on) or dim (if lights are off) so that it isn't over bearing. I was worried about the unit over heating when I saw the fan on the bottom of it but the "rests" sit it up enough that the fan can run efficiently and it doesn't ruin any of the furniture that I sit the device on. The diffuser will also automatically turn off when it has run out of water. Overall, a great unit and a must if you are an essential oil person! I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
